Our mission and visionOur mission is the breeding and preservation of Lipizzaner horses, renowned for their elegance, strength, and endurance. Through careful selection and dedicated care, we strive to provide each horse with optimal conditions for growth and development. The vision of Ergela Kelebija is to become the leading Lipizzaner breeding farm in the region, recognized for its commitment to quality and innovation in horse breeding.
The first horses arrived on September 1, 1993: the stallion Maestoso Jadranka XX K 1985 and the mares Thais XXVI L. 1976 and Thais XIX L. 1982. The foundation stock was acquired from private owners of Lipizzaner horses that had been bred at stud farms across the former Yugoslavia, including Lipica, Đakovo, Vučjak, Karađorđevo, and Lipik.
